27.05.03 SHERBURN  CESNA 150 1 HOUR

Runway 11 righthand tarmac, qfe 1023

Weather: grey, cloud at about 2500ft, slight crosswind.

Slight crosswind on the runway, but not too much of a problem, did a couple of crcuits with Jane, landings were a bit bumpy but good enough for me to go solo again.

Did 3 circuits solo, really good feeling to do a couple of touch and go's on my own, although it feels surprisingly similar to when Jane is there too - i know it has to be like that to make it safe, but it just doesnt feel as real as i thought it would I was exhilerated last time, and i kind of was this time. Having a Peggy Lee 'is that all there is' moment....... will nothing ever feel like an acheivement?!

Then after landing there was a helicopter which i didnt know where it was landing and i kind of got in its way a little bit, well not really , it just wasnt clear if i should wait to see where it went, or if i was already in its way so i just got out of the way as quickly as i could. It didnt seem like anyone else thought it was a problem though.

Still have at least 16 hours more lessons to do, feels like a long time, but i'm going to try to get it all done in July - not sure where the money will come from, but i've come too far now to stop.
