A walking and mapping performance. Chris St Amand and Matt Walker
climbed Cascade Mountain, a day hike in snowy adverse conditions.
Their route was tracked using live GPS and received in the studio.
The peak of Cascade Mountain could be seen through the studio window.
Hamilton and Southern transposed the live data from top down co-ordinates
on to a wall and view of the mountain as landscape view. This work
is concerned with the duration of walking and the work of relating
map to lived landscape, or from plan to drawing.
