24. 01. 03  SHERBURN  CESNA 150 1 HOUR

Weather: Strong Cross wind

Wind too strong and grass all too wet to use so no good for cirucuits had to do instrument flyin instead. Flew down to training area and put big visor on then just flew looking at the attitude meter with its false horizon adn the compass for direction and altitude to see if i was accidentally gaining or loosing height. Have to be even more gentle on the controls than usual because you're just reacting to the dials which themselves have a reaction time. After a turn its really impossible to know by your own senses what straight is. I thought gravity made you feel upright but it is much more to do with seeing a horizon line.

Must to more digital flying. GPS still not back from being fixed.
