flight log

07.02. 03  SHERBURN  CESNA 150 1 HOUR

Weather: quite still, hazy, high cloud.

29 lefthand tarmac, QFEW 1015

Weather good for circuits, no dazzling sun etc. Take offs have begun to seem smooth and straightforward, and finally i'm geting better at radio calls. Calling 'November Julliet departing 29' etc.
I'm really glad i tried flying on a windy day because now quiet days seem relaxing adn easy, i'm not so scared of high winds and gusts.
Jane said that i'm on the cusp of it all clicking and being able to fly! I suppose this means i'll do a solo flight in a few weeks, which is very scarey but over the past few weeks i've realised that one of the things i enjoy about flying is the element of risk, and that hte enjoyment is in defying that tisk, but also in risking failure success is all the more satisfying. Driving in the snow i enjoyed the idea that it might not be safe. Ways of loosing control by having to be so positively in control. this is what i need to master now in flying - being more positively in control. landing is the really problematic thing now, keeping the plane level and straight as i come in to land. Forgot to take photo's and left my credit card there.
