Had to ask Jane to do the checks around the plane with me as I'd forgotten what I was doing. Embarrassing to have to go back and ask, but glad I didn't, I wouldn't want to be doing it wrong.

Flying got a bit better, she said 'good'a couple of times. I feel it's really slow.

The process of learning this kind of task, a very physical and objective task rather than a personal and subjective one like I'm used to. I'm usually able to plan things first and then perform them at the allotted time, whereas with flying its more like reacting on the spot, I feel like I'm a very slow learner, and slow on the up take, but maybe it's more a state of mind.
